Vintage Janitor, Fractured Fairy Tales Ceramic Figure Jay Ward Rocky Bullwinkle

These ceramic figures of the Janitor and Fractured Fairy (characters from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show that we’re also featured in other cartoons) were released in the early 1990s and available for sale at the Universal Studios park in California. I have found reference of them possibly available in the 1960s as part of a giveaway (and later sold at Universal), but could not confirm. They are part of a set of 11 total characters from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show, created by cartoon...ist Jay Ward.
The Janitor is about 3 inches tall, and Fractured Fairy is about 2 inches tall. The stamps on the bottoms of their feet should read “T.M. & Ward Prod.” This is based on the stamps on other figures of the same collection. On the Janitor, the stamp is fading. On Fractured Fairy, the stamp is not centered so as to be wholly on the base of the figure, so some of it is not there. The sticker on the Janitor reads “Hecho en Mexico” (made in Mexico).
Condition is Pre-owned. Any defects are noted below, though the figures still show well for display. There is one chip on each figure. For the Janitor, the chip is behind his right ear, only visible from behind. There is also a small crack there at the base of the ear. For Fractured Fairy, the chip is on her left hand where it grips the wand. Other than the chip in each figure, these two are in excellent condition and are a rare find. Under very close scrutiny in the right lighting, you may see some minor stress lines (“crazing”) on the figures under the glaze, which can be seen but not felt. The lines are minor enough that I’m not sure they even exist or if it is just the paint, whereas most of the other figures I have/had in this collection showed definite lines in the glaze. If not for the chips, I would say these were in perfect condition. However, please see pictures before purchasing!
