Important note: This thermostat has a 38" tube, so check the thermostat you have to see if this is long enough for you.Used(not new) original GE oven thermostat with part # WB21X177 that was pulled from a 1969 GE drop in range. It is in good clean condition and functions fine. It holds an accurate temperature. The tube measures approximately 38" from the tip of the sensor bulb to where it enters the box. The range it was pulled from is shown in the last photo.
In my opinion, this pa...rticular thermostat model is a great thermostat. I have the same one in my 1978 GE free standing range and it holds a very accurate temperature and barely moves when it gets there. Everyone I have had is like this while other thermostats are more "wild".
