USN LCDR ANTHONY PEYOU PATROL SQUADRON 26 G1 CAGLECO BOMBER FLIGHT JACKET SZ 42. Jacket in used vintage condition. Zipper is stuck with a few damaged teeth and zipper pull is broken off and included as shown in the 4th to last closeup picture. There is a little bit of wear to fur around collar as shown 3rd to last picture. Stretch material cuffs are very nice and the stretch material at hem is very good with a small hole as shown in the second to last closeup picture. The leather jacke...t is nice and soft with the exception of the lower third of the right hand pocket. For some reason the leather on the lower pocket is hard and stiff. I have tried to show this section between my thumb and index finger in the last closeup picture. Overall a nice old jacket with great history and a great looking Patrol Squadron 26 Patch that has a Skull and Crossed Bombs. LCDR Anthony M. Peyou was a WWII Pilot. This jacket would date post WWII around 1946 or so. Patrol Squadron 26 Jacket shown in the pictures goes to the winning bidder.
