Please seephotos.Button measures 2-1/4" in diameter.The band was formed in 1973 on the initiative of vocalistand songwriter Dennis Leigh, a then Royal College of Art student, and wasoriginally known as T...iger Lily. On thestrength of their live act, the band signed to Island Records in 1976. Thegroup had still not finalised their band name, wanting to make a good andlasting choice. In July 1976, while working on the late stages of their debutalbum, the band conceived the name Ultravox! (the exclamation mark was areference to krautrock band Neu!, produced by Conny Plank, who later producedthree Ultravox albums).A fine addition to any collection of Ultravox! memorabiliaor fans of the early UKpost-punk & new wave music scenes.Thanks for looking!
