Size 8” by 12.5” on laid, rag-content paper; age toned-heavier at folds, three noticeable holes, 1mm, 5mm, 10mm diameters, edge nicks at ends of folds, stains along edges, overall good condition. Jared Ingersoll (October 24, 1749 – October 31, 1822) was an early American lawyer and statesman from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.He was a delegate of Pennsylvania ...to the Continental Congress and signer of the U.S. Constitution. Ingersoll also served as Pennsylvania state attorney general, 1791–1800 and 1811–1816 and as the United States Attorney for Pennsylvania, 1800–1801. He joined DeWitt Clinton on the Democratic-Republican Party ticket in the 1812 election, but was defeated by James Madison and Elbridge Gerry.
