Sent in a 4" X 6" letter envelope.
I do not send it in a rigid photo-mailer because the post office will charge 1st class parcel rate ($3.25) and nobody wants to pay that. However, I have mailed hundreds of photos in this manner and have not had one arrive to the buyer with any damage.
