This massive 22-inch Sears & Roebuck Silvertone High-Fidelity black & white television model 6122 is in excellent cosmetic condition, but is in need of repair. Unit powers on but screen does not light up. Static and scratchy noise can be heard from the speakers if you replace the blown 6V6 tube inside (all other tubes light up when powered on). The beautiful wood cabinet measures 23"H x 26.5"W x 23.5"D. It has cool angled side edges and heavy-duty flat glass dust cover protecti...ng the screen and gold trim inside. The channel dial has a weird reflective number display that backlights inside and reflects the numeral off of a tiny chrome mirrored window. The readout is barely visible now, as the dial knob will need to be dismantled inside and properly cleaned. Exterior has been thoroughly cleaned, including behind the protective glass cover, and the interior was dusted and vacuumed out. The cabinet shows only minor wear from normal use and age, and looks recently manufactured. Free local pickup only...this item is simply too large and heavy to trust it will arrive safely (we live about 30 minutes east of downtown Atlanta).
