This has been completely dismantled and cleaned from the inside out.
Every part that could be washed with soap and water has been.
All applicable electronic parts have been cleaned/deoxed.
All four speakers are working and sound great.
Both speaker grilles are in excellent condition.
Both the radio (AM&FM) and cassette player are working.
All new cassette player belts have been installed along with a new pinch roller (red rubber wheel in pic 7).
The cassette's ...recording function works along with the music search (MLS).
The line in and headphone jacks work.
The battery compartment is clean and the box works perfectly on 8 D batteries.
I'm including a new 6.5 ft. power cord (shown in pic 9).
The antenna easily extends and retracts and is in great condition.
A small piece of the plastic retainer for the antenna is cracked off but it still stays in place when folded down.
The chrome on the handle and grille rings is in great condition as well as the finish on all buttons and knobs.
The two most common problem areas with this model are the cassette player and vu meter/meters not working.
The cassette player problem is usually a plastic piece that cracks or breaks apart and is difficult or sometimes impossible to fix.
This box had that problem and has been repaired.
This box also had a problem with one of the vu meters not working so both have been replaced with brand new ones.
Picture 10 shows the meters moving with the radio.
The box has minor scratches/scuffs on the body but it's in really nice condition.
I'll ship to the lower 48 states only with tracking and insurance asap after payment is received.
