1980s SCHWINN LIL CHIK 20 GIRLS STINGRAY BIKE VINTAGE FAIR LADY BICYCLE BLUE! Click Photos to Enlarge
Description Here i...s a rare original 1980s vintage SCHWINN STINGRAY "LIL CHIK" 20" banana seat bicycle! (Serial number is F402888) This is one of the latest model Schwinn Stingray bikes I have seen which is pretty cool! This bike style is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, nearly every single part of this bike is original. This bike has been in storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it!
*The bike is in the original and super cute light BLUE and white factory painted color. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, color matching fenders front and rear, and so much more! The original chainguard is in place! The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes. The seat is original and not bad. (has a cut, I like the original matching butterfly graphics on the bike... seat, guard, etc!) A young person may really enjoy having a vintage Schwinn to ride or would be a great display!!! This is one of the latest model of the Stingray style bikes I have ever seen! Would be a good way to "round out" your Stingray collection being a later model! (most people dont know these exist!)
*It has the original chrome wheels front and rear. (Schwinn did not use S7 at this point) The tires are slightly newer replacement tires and do hold air. A cool Stingray at a great price! The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes and a Shimano hub.
*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.
*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! The paint looks respectable for a 35+ year old bike! (has chips scratches etc but has survived better than many!) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you bid.
*Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. This awesome ride starts low with ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE so bid early and don't miss out! This will sell to the high bidder! Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
*SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment.
