This is a very nice all-original Kahles Helia Super 1.5-4.5X Variable Power Scope with a tapered post and crosshair reticle. This vintage beauty was made by the famous K. Kahles Wien firm in Austria. This scope is used but has been very well cared for and remains in excellent condition overall. It features a 1" inch blued steel tube with a 21mm objective lens and 35mm eyepiece lens. The power adjusting ring is labeled at 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, and 4.5X and uses... detents at every 1/4 power. This gives you the ability to select 1.75, 2.25, 2.75X and so on up to 4.5X. As you can see from the pictures, the original factory blue finish rates 95% and looks great. Both of the original turret caps are still on the scope and the threads for them are in perfect condition. Both the windage and elevation adjustments are in perfect working order, with click adjustments that can be made easily by hand with knurled adjustment knobs. The optics are on this Kahles scope are clear and bright. There is no visible delamination and both lenses are free from any scratches, chips, or cracks. This is a very well-made, high-quality vintage scope by Austria's most respected scope maker, and would be an excellent choice paired with a high-end or vintage rifle.
