Offered is a vintage USN Flight Helmet from VA-85. (Established Feb 1953 - Disestablished Sep 1994). Single visor APH-6 helmet with butterfly mounts for oxygen mask clips, boom mike adapter and one speaker . Helmet is covered with reflective tape in the design for VA-85. There are some scuffs on the helmet and one ear seal cushion and earcup has been removed. The other earcup foam has deteriorated due to aging and been removed. Visor has one ...cracks; slides up and down smoothly. This helmet would be a nice addition to any military collection.
