Listing is for a pair of vintage corner wall shelves in used condition.
They are not marked, but appear to be made in the Middle Eastern, mother of pearl and brass inlay style commonly seen in Turkish and Moroccan decor. The inlaid design is worked throughout the pieces except on the shelving area where items would be placed. There is no design on the back sides that would go up against the wall. Each shelf has one hole where you would screw the shelf into the corner wall. Mounting... screws/hardware are not included with sale. There is visible patina on brass filigree. Also, care must be taken when cleaning these shelves in order to avoid pulling on the brass inlay. There is one area where the brass has fallen out and a few other spots where the brass has been snagged out of place. These flaws don’t detract from the beauty of each piece, especially not from a distance. Please see final photo for a close up of missing piece and examples of snagged pieces. Each shelf measures approximately 19.5” x 5.75” and extends out approximately 7”.
