Nice clean unit, fully tested, serviced and functionally restored for safe and continuous operation, and the best possible sound. Most importantly, it sure sounds lovely. Performing perfectly and whisper quiet. This has the highly regarded PAS3x circuit with its famed tone control bypass when the dials are centered. It is apparent by the PAS3x specific short rotation pots and bypass capacitors. Services to this unit are as follows:New filament power supply consisting of new capacitors ...and ultra quiet Schottky diodes. Much better than the dangerous selenium rectifier. New film bypass capacitors installed in place of the aging electrolytics. Of course, all controls and tube sockets were cleaned and lubricated for smooth and static free operation. Also installed, are a super strong set of matching exotic Made in Poland RCA tubes. Performing and sounding great. A strong US made GE 12X4 rectifier tube is also present. Some minor scuffs on the top cover but the face place is very clean with all of the lettering present. Bid with confidence, this is a great sweet sounding, huge holographic tube preamp, ready to be enjoyed.
