This is an auction for a Vintage c.1920's-30's Achomawi or Atsugewi Twined Trinket Basket.
These tribes are from the Pit River or New River Area of California. The basket is made of
Beargrass, Spruce Root, Red Bud and Hazel Sticks. The basket measures approximately
5" in diameter and is 2 1/2" high. The Condition is Excellent! I had an American Indian
Basketry Consultant look at the basket and these are the things she told me about the basket!
