The inside lid is marked, "Lane Cedar Chests Altavista, VA" and, " McMahan Furniture Van Nuys 6735 Van Nuys Blvd." There is no key. The wood is beautiful with rich tones and variations in colors. This is a pre-owned item with everyday scuffs and light scratches as shown. There are no cracks. The box smells great. My... photos are of the actual item you are getting.
