We are excited about a large collection of Brown & Bigelow mailing calendars, prints and Christmas cards and assorted ephemera we recently acquired at an estate auction in Saint Paul. These were archived and stored for decades in several huge folio books that were created to archive published examples of the calendar giant. The calendars span the period from about 1917 through to the WWII years of the mid 1940s. There are many images we have never seen before in several decades of selling vintage pin-up and ephemera, we hope you find these calendars as exciting as we do!
ITEM: This is a scarce vintage and original 1928 Brown & Bigelow Indian maiden adorned mailing calendar with advertising for a beverage Bottler in Cleveland, Ohio named Walter J. Ward and Co. This rare surviving sample calendar features an unusual and just stunning Indian maiden image titled Shekopeo, (Rising Sun).
Measures 5" x 10"on a heavy card-stock paper
CONDITION: Fine condition with light adhesive remnants on the back side from having been carefully removed form a huge Brown & Bigelow Calendar Company archived folio book - please use the included images as your best conditional guide.
