Beautiful vintage Singer Featherweight 221-1 portable electric sewing machine

Original case with one tray insert and one case key
The light works and the machine was tested and it runs well - we tested the machine for functionality, but did not do any actual sewing. There is some slight fading of the gold stenciling and signs of wear such as light scratching and dull spots that you would expect with a machine of this age. The belt seems a bit loos...e and weathered to me, but it does power the machine. The power cord seems to be in very good condition. I am selling everything pictured as it is shown and as is. Please let me know if you have questions or would like any additional pictures. I am not a sewer, and I tried to represent everything about this machine as accurately as possible.
Regarding shipping, I will pack the machine with extreme care and plenty of protective material. Local pickup is an option.
This sewing machine originally belonged to my grandmother. As far as I know, all original parts, and original case in very good condition. We do not have any sewers in the family so we are looking for a good home for this beautiful machine.
