This is a vintage, Mamod MM2 Horizontalsteam engine. (Rebuilt) It is in very good condition. I test fired it and itran great. These are very high RPM machines with a short stroke and small bore.They are solid, well built machines. The original safety valve works fine. Thisone has the original hexamine burner. I included a 250ml incremented fillbottle, a bag of fuel and a bottle of steam cylinder oil. It is mounted on ahand crafted Spruce platform. I usedexisting holes to mount it... with stainless steel screws. No holes were drilled.Please view all the pictures. What you see is what you get. Idry my lumber in a rack for several months, but this is not always enough. Whenit changes climates from the high humidity of Florida to an area that is proneto have low humidity it can exacerbate this condition. I always position myengine or accessory on the top of the crown, so it should stay level on theintended surface.
