This is a vintage, Mamod MM2 Horizontalsteam engine. (Rebuilt) It is in very good condition. I test fired it and itran great. These are very high RPM machines with a short stroke and small bore. They are solid, well built machines. The original safety valve works fine. Thisone has the original hexamine burner. I included a 250ml incremented fillbottle, a bag of fuel and a bottle of steam cylinder oil. It is mounted on ahand crafted Spruce platform. I usedexisting holes to mount it... with stainless steel screws. No holes were drilled. Please view all the pictures. What you see is what you get. Thanks for viewing the engine and good luckBidding Shipping; I ship the first work dayafter you buy the item. In order to expedite your order I go to the post officeas soon as it opens the following day. This is 9:00 am EST at the PO I use. So, for both of us, please make payment at the time of the order. I take great carein packing my machines so they will not get damaged in shipping. Since they arepre-packed, I cannot combine engines. I do my best to save you shipping cost byusing the smallest possible box and light packing material. Note; Sometimes Spruce will get a warp to it as it dries. Idry my lumber in a rack for several months, but this is not always enough. Whenit changes climates from the high humidity of Florida to an area that is proneto have low humidity it can exacerbate this condition. I always position myengine or accessory on the top of the crown, so it should stay level on theintended surface. This seldom happens, but I wanted you to know it is a possibility.I usually start the bidding belowwhat I have in it. Sometimes I do well sometimes not, but I am doing somethingI love.
