Lovely golden light brown oil varnish with a honey yellow base, covers the holographic tiger flamed two piece maple back. The ribs are also nicely flamed. The table is made of a strong fine to me...dium width grain spruce.
The violin measures 360 mm from the back with French Characteristics.
It has been well taken care of throughout the years And makes for a good violin, a pleaure to play with a smooth well balanced tone!
Good solid workmanship throughout, with a good cut scroll, nicely carved corners the edges are well define, and the f holes are attractively designed.purfling is laid out with precision throughout.
The inside work is accurate, smooth, clean and polished with all corners blocked and reinforced by lining strips of wood.
The violin is in playing condition condtions with minor seam re-gluing needed.loose seams at the bottom near the end pin do to the glue drying out over the years. Absolutely no cracks or fractures anywhere, clean as a whistle, looks fantastic!
