VINTAGE DRAFTING TABLE FOR SALE ((( ** Local pickup only ** )))

Purchased from the Florida Department of Transportation’s surplus property inventory.
This old solid wood drafting table was used by their Engineering and Land Surveying department until being surplused in 1966 and replaced with new updated tables.
This vintage drafting table was purchased by the State Road Department (now called the State of Florida Department of Transportation) sometime between 1915 and 1969. (See State Road Department decal on front of table). The Company that built this table was “Mayline Company, Inc. out of Sheboygan, Wis.(See decal on left side of table).
The table top is solid oak which was common on the very old drafting tables with the newer Drafting tables being constructed with “hollow” table tops with fillers making this solid oak table top one of the original models constructed by Mayline. No exact construction date was found for this particular model.
The table top measures 38” x 60” with a single wood drawer and a map storage drawer under the top along with an attached double storage drawer under the table’s right side.
This old vintage table is a perfect treasure for someone being in the Engineering or Land Surveying profession or for someone who appreciates historical and used artifacts utilized in the the building of our great country!
