Beautiful antique John Chatillon & Sons No. 4 Candy Scale. Rare 8 ounce (1/2 pound capacity) Restored small scale with Dark Burgundy paint w/gold striping....one of a kind! (Name plate states..... John Chatillon & Sons Makers, New York, USA)Beam, name plate, scale pan, are all polished brass.Brass scale pan is original and in nice condition and shows signs of use, with a few dings or dents, nice rolled edge, no rust and no breaks.Scale is in wonderful wor...king condition and has been is my collection for many years. Base of scale is 10 1/4 inches long and 5 inches wide. Height to top of weight plate is 5 1/2 inches. Height to top of scale pan is 8 inches. Scale pan is 7 in. X 10 in. long. Weight plate is 5 5/8 in. in diameter.Comes with two original weights 1 LB and 2 LBWould make a stunning addition for a collection or for display on a counter top in kitchen, or on a table or shelf.
