Vintage MOOG PRODIGY analog monophonic synthesizer. Fantastic little synth with huge all analog vintage moog tone. Does have some issues but overall it works & sounds great. This is the preferable post 1981 version with the full input selection rear. It also has an unmarked 1/4" trigger input. I have not been able to test all the inputs but the 1/4" trigger in did work great when I tried it, a very cool feature.
While I have not performed any in depth testin...g on this synth I've been playing it a bunch recently and will state the issues I'm aware of : A few white keys are damaged. The lowest key works, but is crooked & sticks when pressed. The two highest keys are crooked but both work without sticking. One of the lower black keys frequently plays the wrong note, I think it was the low C sharp or D sharp. All other keys seem to work normally. The Pitch & Modulation wheels work but can distort the sound (a cool gritty distortion) when you touch them. The Oscillator section switches can be finicky, mostly with Osc. 1. I've always been able to get it to work right but sometimes it takes some finesse to get it to work right. All other switches & knobs seem to work fine. The pots could use a cleaning as sometimes theres a little noise. The power cord insulation is frayed where it connects to the keyboard. There may be other issues I haven't noticed, so it is being sold strictly As-Is. That being said, I've had a blast playing it & its actual sound is awesome. I'm sure with some quality service this would be a great unit, and can certainly be used & enjoyed as it is, to a limited extent.
Physically other then the mentioned issues it is in very nice condition with no serious damages. Beautiful solid blonde wood case. All knobs & switches intact. Very little wear overall. Please check the photos closely. Sold as Untested & As-Is. Will be packed with care.
