The Gibson LES PAUL 50'S TRIBUTE 2016 T electric guitar is an amazing instrument with a 1950s aesthetic that any guitarist would love. It is the guitar of choice for "Captain" Kirk Douglas of The Roots. The instrument features both solid wood mahogany and maple, two excellent tonewoods that help produce the amazing ...sound and tonality of this guitar. The neck sports a rounded '50s style, and the solid tuner knobs have a unique vintage look. The fretboard itself is a thick rosewood material that is great for sustaining notes. This guitar also features 498T bridge pickups with alnico magnets, which recreate and showcase the tonality and sound quality of old-time humbuckers from the '50s.
