Vintage 1970s Porsche Design Orfina Automatic Black S/Steel Day Date Watch worn by Carrie Fisher
A truly stunning watch by Porsche Design (Orfina), both the strap and watch are finished in black anodized stainless steel and from what I have read it is a unisex watch despite its diminutive size and that it was worn by Carrie Fisher during the Star Wars era (see photo 2). It was also designed by Ferdinand Porsche himself.
The watch is packed with features, a 25 Jewels Orfi...na Watch Company automatic movement, orange seconds hand, day and date feature and screw in crown. The black anodized steel finish has some light wear exposing base metal underneath, mainly around bezel and edges of watch, there are some small marks around the bezel as well. The hour and minute hands luminous paint is a little discoloured. The plexiglass crystal is in good condition. The watch keeps good time.
It measures approx 29.50mm diameter excluding the crown and 31.60mm including the crown by 32mm from lug to lug
The strap fits a wrist up to 7¾ inches circumference (this shows it was made as a unisex watch as this fits a large wrist) and is adjustable down to 7" inches circumference without removing links
