The clock works and so does the alarm. When the alarm goes off the top lifts and the alarm sounds and the crayons light up. Everything works except the top doesn’t fully raise so it makes the whirring motor sound as well as the alarm unless the top goes all the way up. The battery compartment is clean.
Comes complete with battery cover. This will not ship with batteries.Sold as is see pictures  for details
