For Sale: VHTF ☆ Vintage ☆ Original ☆ NIKE Baseball Poster ☆ BLUE THUNDER ☆ Pedro Guerrero ☆ L.A. Dodgers ☆ MLB ☆ Never Hung!
Poster is 22" x 35". (Beware of 20" x 30" knock-off posters! There is a seller on eBay that sells 20" x 30" knock-offs of Nike posters. They are not true Nike posters, but cheap copies. If you look closely at the those listings, none of those posters have the NIKE Swoosh logo in the corners. Don't be fooled into buying a cheap copy...!)A Must Have For Dodgers / Guerrero / MLB / NIKE Poster COMPLETIST!Very Hard To Find! In all my years collecting and selling Nike Posters, I've only come across this poster a couple of times. Don't Miss Out!SHIPS FROM BEAVERTON OREGON! The Birthplace of NIKE!This poster would make the perfect addition to the wall of any Man Cave, Fan Cave, Locker Room, Sports Bar, Gym, Sports theme restaurant or even a Police Station!
This Vintage, Original, NIKE Poster is in EXCELLENT, Never Hung, Condition with TONS of EYE APPEAL! No pin holes or tape residue! Although this poster has never been hung, it does have some very minor league edge creasing, which can easily be taken care of when framing. Please check out all the BIG PICS and make your own decision on condition. The price has already been adjusted for the condition concerns.
Pedro Guerrero is a Dominican former professional baseball player. He played all or part of fifteen seasons in Major League Baseball from 1978 to 1992 with the Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals. Writer Bill James called Guerrero "the best hitter God has made in a long time." Guerrero broke into the big leagues in late 1978. His first major league at-bat came in the fifth inning of a September blowout loss against Randy Jones and the San Diego Padres. Pedro pinch-hit for former minor-league roommate and future nemesis Rick Sutcliffe, and singled for the first of his 1, 618 hits. Exactly one year later he hit his first major league home run off Padres pitcher Bob Owchinko, appearing in 25 games total in 1979. Pedro made significant contributions to the parent club in 1980. He filled valuable a utility role over two stretches during the season, spelling an ailing Davey Lopes at second and a slumping Rudy Law in center. Overall, Guerrero played six different positions in 1980 and batted an impressive .322 with 7 homers and 31 RBI in 183 at-bats.
