This is a very clean Collins 75A-4 receiver, both inside and out. It came from a gentleman who is downsizing his sizable collection as he's getting up in age. This receiver hasn't been used in a year or two, but should need only minor attention (controls and tube sockets cleaned, maybe some tubes replaced, etc), if any. As you can see in the photos, it includes the stock 3.1 filter. There is also some control added, but this looks to be a simple modification which is easily removed and... hasn't cut the cabinet in any way. This is a lovely piece of Collins gear that needs to find a good home!
We realize the shipping is a bit steep, however while this item isn't particularly heavy, it is large and FedEx does use something called "dimensional weight". With this, the size counts just as much as the weight.
Please realize that this is a vintage piece of equipment, and unless specifically noted above, it has not been fully restored with new components. It will inevitably need maintenance, however it's impossible to know whether that will be next week or a few years down the road. Unless you are capable of doing this work yourself (or have access to someone who can), we suggest you revisit the idea of whether this is the right equipment for you.
