Rare Set of 10 Silverplated REED & BARTON NATIVITY BELLS and WOOD CRECHE
These bell figures were created from characters featured in the beautiful Nativity painting mastered by Florentine Italian artist, Sandro Botticelli (c 1445-1510.)
Now retired and rare, this complete set of ten bells were issued, two per year, from 1983 through 1987.They measure 3" tall and each handle depicts a different n...ativity character such as Mary, Joseph, the Christ Child, Wisemen, Shepherds, etc. Silverplated, each one is marked, "Nativity Bell RAB." Made in the U.S.A.
They can be displayed in this companion wooden creche or hung from a Christmas tree or mantle with the handle's small hole.
