What a beautiful piece this is.   Wonderful hand carved mahogany - very intricate design with high quality construction.   Could be used as a jewelry or trinket box but I believe the original use, with this design, was as a tea caddy / box / chest.     Dimensions about 10" long x 7" wide x 8" tall.    You will not be disappointed with this one!
