Offered is a very rare vintage pair of WWII-Era E. Leitz Wetzlar 7X42 "Forest" Binoculars, made in Germany. These are in very worn vintage condition - the leather on the outside is dried, cracked, and missing in places (see photos). The optics work, and the focusing works although one eyepiece is sticky during focusing. The diopter adjustment works fine. There are no cracks in the glass anywhere I can see, the binoculars actually work very well optically - good ...view and both eyes are lined up. There is some growth/discoloration visible inside. There IS a case, but it is taped on the back and missing the lid, so nothing special...
