RARE Vintage circa 1935 Washburn model 5258 "Archtop Super Deluxe" sunburst acoustic guitar == Distributed by Tonk Brothers (intact label inside, probably Regal-made, with Solid Spruce top, laminated Flame Maple back and sides, Grover butter-bean tuners (as used by Martin), Ebony fretboard with bar frets == Serial Number 559 == VG overall condition with play & finish wear, scratches, small dings, checking -- it does have an old headstock repair as shown (very solid), and a possible... crack center top under tailpiece (not moving) -- AND it has a very straight neck with very light fret wear and a good neck set & tight neck joint! -- Action is 3/32" at 12th fret E's -- the 13th fret has lifted on bass side (pictured) and low E & A strings are fretting out at 11th & 12th fret, simple fix == Pickguard may not be original, missing end button, and one screw mounting a tuner is not original == Fresh Martin extra-light strings -- this guitar sounds darn good!! == Includes vintage but probably non-original case == Washburn models 5258 & 5259 were top-of-the-line archtops! == International OK! ==Worldwide Shipping -- NOTE: International buyers NOTE: CITES as of 1 Jan. 2017 restricts all rosewoods (although most are not endangered!!) -- our guitars may have rosewood components; check with your local customs to determine if this affects shipping to your country before purchase ==
