The pen has markings "MONT BLANC" and "Germany"It is unfortunately engraved with a person's name.I'm not sure what the metal material it is crafted from but all I can tell you that is that it is gold colored. No dents and the pocket clip is straight.The spare ink cartridge shown appears to be empty or dried up.Comes with the hard plastic clamshell case as shown.
