This listing is for Vintage 1960's Maestro EP-1 Echoplex Tape Echo Delay Unit. This unit was made in circa 1963 and is a Tube EP-1 and is a first generation of Maestro Echoplex unit. This unit works and sounds good but these can be finicky are these are extremely fragile. The unit has a non original tape head cover. When I got the unit the cover was missing. I made a simple one with plastic just to protect the heads and tape. I also replaced the power cable. The cable to the amplifier ...is original as best I can tell. The unit works and sounds good but needs to be handled gently. Because I cannot guarantee Fed Ex or USPS won't drop the box off a truck I have to list this AS-IS with no returns or refunds and the unit might need some maintenance upon delivery. Please look at the pictures and email with questions. The unit will be expertly packed for safe shipping but as I explained the unit may require maintenance upon delivery. I am happy to ship internationally but will not falsify customs documents.
