This listing is for a very cool Vintage 1970's Fender Jazz Bass Guitar Neck. This neck came off a 1973 Fender Jazz Bass. The neck has a maple fretboard and black block inlays. The neck has heavy wear including nicks, dings and scratches. The finish is original and the neck is straight. The truss rod works fine. The frets on the neck are extremely worn down and for most players would want to refret the neck. Before I removed the neck the bass was still playing and not buzzing but as you... can see the frets are full of divots and almost flat. The neck comes as pictured with the original string retainer and tuner ferrules. The neck is stamped J Torres on the heel. Any neck stamp has worn away. These was era when Fender used a code stamp and it's quite common for the stamps to wear away. The neck was on a 1973 Jazz Bass and I have full confidence that is when the neck was made.
