A beautiful National Duolian resonator guitar. C-series, Made in late 1934 or 1935. Serial C9377. Round neck. 14 frets from body. Green/gray finish. Duolian decal. Truly a thing of beauty. Great overall condition. There is only one small ding in the metal near where your arm would rest. The ding is on the side, but there is a small bulge on the front. I almost didn't notice it.
Beautiful V neck feels great. &nb...sp;It's a wonderful guitar to play and is currently set up for slide. The action is too high to play in the normal style. Neck has some bend in it. The neck joint is solid. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THIS GUITAR NORMALLY USING THE FRETBOARD AND FINGERING THE STRINGS, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THE NECK RESET AND THE FRETBOARD LEVELED. AS IT IS NOW, IT'S A GREAT SLIDE GUITAR.
It's all original, except the tuning pegs are replacements (I believe stew-mac aged tuning pegs). There is minor finish wear on the back of the neck. The tuning pegs all work smoothly.
There are some initials scratched into the metal on the front near the armrest and also near the treble soundhole. I think the initials are MS or SW.
There was a piece of blue tape near on the nut, I took it off. There's some glue residue on the nut. Maybe it was crudely shimmed or re-glued. It's fine to play the way it is.
This guitar is loud! and sounds awesome! comes with a hardshell case that is lined with some pink felt. It is a litte roomy, but fits the guitar. A very collectible guitar. Buyer pays $50 shipping. International shipping will be about $100-130. -Fred.
