Up for auction is this vintage opal ( white ) ribbed glass dome shade with a 10 inch base diameter . This one is old, original solid opal, not clear glass with an opal thin liner like the more recent ones. It is also a little thinner than more modern shades.10 inches base diameter, 6 inches overall height ( a little lower than most repro domes ) and approx 80mm internal diameter at the neck, where it fits onto a pressure lamp.Base and top are cut and ground, there are no cracks in... the shade, no burst bubbles, no chips to base, one tiny, about 2mm wide, shallow flake inside top opening, may be from manufacture.The shade will fit the 10 inch gallery of an Aladdin Mantle lamp, as seen, and also onto a Coleman lamp, also shown .Catalogue images are from a 1927 Pifco Catalogue .PLEASE NOTE, THE LAMPS SHOWN IN THE LAST 4 PICTURES ARE FOR DEMONSTRATION ONLY AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE Check out my other lots, save on postage !Will be well packed !!P&P , tracked delivery to suit Paypal requirements, UK £8.99, EU £18.99, rest of world £25.99 (airmail signed for service)Collect in person, cash and carry, welcome... save the postage !EMAIL Qs early, more pics available if required!Overseas bidders please note ;- Any customs charges or import duties levied by your country are entirely beyond my control, and are your responsibility.
