Vintage 1940’s Oster Airjet Electric Hair Dryer Model 202 - Atomic Chrome Tabletop Hair Dryer in Original Box - Vintage Hair Salon DecorIn excellent condition, this Atomic Era Hair Dryer still works! It stands up and was used hand held or placed on the counter where it’s tilt can be adjusted. The chrome and plastic base have no scratches or dents. The electrical cord is in almost new condition. There is a small spot of what looks like dried glue on the underside of the nozzle. The ...dryer is in it’s original green box with very cool graphics. It displays well but the rest of the box is peeling and taped in several places.
This Airjet would make a great display piece in a hair salon or a special gift for a hair stylist.
I can only confirm that the dryer works at the time of shipping. It is vintage and I have no experience working with hair dryers.
