You are bidding on a beautiful painted cast iron plaque - "Philadelphia Contributionship", America's oldest insurance company founded by Benjamin Franklin. The plaque measures 10 1/2" tall x 7 1/2" wide x 1/2" deep. Four interlocked hands and No. 906 on the front. Made by the John Wright Company of Wrightsville, PA.The plaque is NEW OLD STOCK - a find in my late uncle's attic. Great original paint. Shows no wear except for some very ...minor surface rusting around the edges due to storage.
