The ornamental motif is in relief and the plate is decorated by hand in the classic cobalt blue shades applied undercoat. The plate was produced in limited quantities only and exclusively in the year reported on the plate itselfand the production ended at the end of the year with the destruction ofthe original shape that made it so impossible to reproduce. To guarantee authenticity, the plate bears the mark of Bing & Grondahl with the three towers, inspired bythe emblem of the city of Copenhagen, and the initials of the painter.
