This is a vintage Japanese incense case, Kogo of Shibukusa ware, which was made by a famous potter, the 5th Ryuzo Toda about 40 years ago.Flowers are hand-painted on the body. The signature of the potter is written on the bottom. The original wooden box with the singature of the potter is also included.
Shibukusa ware has been made in Gifu prefecture, Japan.
