Stunning unusual ChineseImperial Yellow porcelain trumpet vase.Circa late 1800s.This is an usual trumpetvase with tapered hexagonal shape. The vase has raised chrysanthemum motif onthe panels of the hexagon.The mouth is flared outforming a trumpet shape.There are two fu dog mockhandles on the side.Very fine thin porcelainvase possibly made by Guan Yao kiln (官窑). There are however no crackles under the glaze.Guan Yao was one of thetop five kilns originated from the Song Dynasty.
