The item for sale is an antique advertising printed paper folding fan on wood slats made circa 1908 - 1912.
The fan reads : "Casino du Chateau des Beaux Arts Huntington, LI. Bustanoby Brothers. Café Des Beaux Arts, New York."
The Casion du Chateau was opened in 1908 and closed in 1912 when the Bustanoby Brothers declared bankruptcy.
The fan measures 8 1/2 inches long X 3/4 inch at it widest when closed.
It measures 15 inches ...wide when opened.
The fan is in good / fair condition due to small tears on the edge; a small hole on the left side; age toning; small stains; wear to the edges of the folds; and small bends along the outer edges.
