Corgi 267 Batmobile with Batman & Robin.Gold VariationI have up for auction is a replica of the very few 267 batmobile's that were produced in the gold color variation. these were made for special visitors at the time. One sold recently that came from the family of Percy Wilford, Corgi's Senior Model Maker who worked closely with Marcel Van Cleemput at the Northampton factory. This model was originally Gloss Black that has been painted g...old, maybe not to everyone taste, but I think it look well, and it is different. The model pop-out front slasher blade, and three rocket launchers on the rear all work as they should, still has Batman and Robin original figures. This model has the whizzwheels deep dished 8 spokes rims, whizzwheel models lost the pulsating exhaust flame feature. The chrome launchers & cockpit are still shiny & bright with a little sign of deterioration to the chrome. Both doors still have their bat-emblems on both sides. The Batmobile blue screens are in very good condition with no chipping or cracks to canopy. Suspension is in good condition. All cockpit features are present, steering wheel, handbrake, bat phone and fire extinguisher, all in excellent condition.
