The front of the labels are very colorful and the images are distinct and representative of the era. The back of each label is blank. These labels would make a great addition to any collection!
I am clearing out the last of these labels in a few lots. Get them while you can! 11 Nara Hotel Nara Park Japan 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" 2 Nara Hotel Nara Park Japan 2 3/16" x 3 1/4" 1 Raffles Hotel Singapore 5 5/8" x 3 5/8" 1 Galle Face Hotel Colombo Ceylon Sri Lanka 5 7/8" x 4 1/2" 19 The Oriental Hotel Kobe Japan 4 3/16"These labels were acquired from a local client and collector of many items. They have been in storage since the 1970's. We found them in a box with many other luggage labels, stamps and postcards from the early 1930's era. I think these are original, they have a beautiful and original looking sheen on the front.The labels are bright, clear and mostly clean. They show some aged appearance, a few small corner bends, a small/slight crease, some small tears, aged appearance and discoloration. PLEASE See my pictures.
