Vintage Dokra Dhokra Bronze Owl Figure Pot Statue Far East India China Asia Dhorka is casting non-ferrous metals using the lost wax method.  This way of casting metal has been used in India for over 4000 years.  Dhorka artisans are much sought after due to the primitive simplicity, powerful shapes, and folklore motifs.  With the lost wax method, no copy is the same.  The bronze measures approximately 7 1/2”H x 4 3/8”W x 5”D. The bronze shows typical ...vintage wear, with a small hole on the right side of the owl. Shows a few spots polish residue. Please see photos and review carefully.Very substantial in weight, and stands strongly.
