Here's a well-used pen with an unbelievably awesome nib.
This pen's nib is one of the most easily flexed nibs I've run across. It is labeled as a #2, but its tines seem to be longer than most #2 nibs you see. It can go from fine lines to very broad strokes very easily, and with great snapback. The body is rolled gold, and worn through where the cap has been posted, but it would be polished out to the point where the brass underneath would look much closer to the gold overlay. ...As is the case with all of my pens, I leave the polishing to the next owner, as I don't want to needlessly decrease the detail in the overlay. The black ebonite section is still very dark, not showing any olive tones of oxidation. The ring top hardware is secure and shows no wobble or looseness.
