This is a 1920's Ferdinand Strauss Boob McNutt tin wind up made in New York.  Boob McNutt was a Rube Goldberg comic strip character from 1915 through the 1920's.  This is a hard to find toy especially in this very good and working condition.  The wind up is strong, and when wound Boob McNutt's upper body rocks side to side with his head bobbing, arms swinging, while walking forward.  The tin litho is in very good condition with minimal play wear for its age.  H...e measures about 9" tall.  Please see pictures for the best description.
