Up for Auction with NO RESERVE is an EXCEPTIONAL c1920 ART DECO AUSTRIAN SILVERED BRONZE BIRD FIGURAL DESK PAPER CLIP There are some pieces you just say wow, that's cool when you see them and this is one for sure ! This is a fantastic Silvered and Gold Gilt Bronze paper clip which can be used on your desk or hung on the wall. The Clip features ruby (possibly glass) eyes and superb details throughout. I do not see any markings but it is undoubtedly Austrian.
Condition : Shows some surface wear throughout as seen and one jeweled eye is as is. Springs closed nice and tight, not as tight as originally most likely but tight enough to hold some papers.
Measurements : measures 6-1/2 inches long by 1-3/8 inches tall overall and has a quality weight of 220 grams.
