Though 'Condition' is not a requirement for this listing we though we should share some of the wonderful attributes of this SL vintage writing desk. It of course is an investment-grade desk, built to last and hand-down to heirs and/or re-sell. It is in excellent structural condition. All drawers operate smoothly. It has all of its hardware and no breaks in the construction. It has only slight signs of wear considering it's age. There are no major dents or dings...just a nick here and a... scrape there...and only that which is commensurate of a respectfully used and treasured library piece. We show a few images before and after treatment with polishing oil. This stalwart beauty appreciates a regular oiling.
It spent it's entire life here in Southern California where the mild clime and moderate seasonal swing tends to be much more forgiving on the woods of antique and vintage furniture as compared to other regions of the Untied States. .
