*Up for sale here is quite the handsome looking and very scarce to rare western milk bottle from Victorville, California. This tall round embossed quart example is sparkling clean with no wear or chips. Bottle has been lightly tumbled clean to perfection as seen here. There are a few different versions of this... bottle, as this one has the well defined fancy fluted shoulders and neck pattern. The embossing is very crisp and bold.*It nicely reads within a circle slug plate ~ "SNELL'S DAIRY / VICTORVILLE". On the lower heel it reads ~ "One Quart". The base carries the Owens-Illinois glass company symbol. This reads ~ "23 <0> 8", as bottle was made at the Los Angeles plant in 1938. This vintage example measures 8 1/2 inches tall, and 3 3/4 inches in diameter.
